Selenis Canada offers expansion opportunities

DAK Americas has finalized the purchase of Selenis Canada from IMG Group of Portugal, and the deal has been approved by the Canadian Competition Bureau. Selenis Canada Inc. operates a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plant in Montréal, Québec capable of making 144 kilotons of PET Resin per year. The facility offers the ability to expand operations into Canada to produce differentiated products and enhance raw material synergies. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
